Black feathers over my head
Loud noises, flapping of wings
Dark shadow hugging the concrete
As I stand still.
The bird of the night is getting louder
The sound is clouding my head
The burning fear is blazing my heart
As I stand still.
The evening is here
The sound is gone
The raven is already away
And yet..
I stand still.
What is that power over my head?
What is that fear that conquers my heart?
What is that darkness that shadows my soul?
Why is that raven so important?..
As I stand still…
I still do not know.
